Using Moonlight Paper for Winter Layouts

_8297352 snow much fun (Medium)

I just love snowmen. I don’t like winter so much …just snowmen. For this layout I wanted to show you that our Moonlight paper can be used for layouts other than Halloween. I think I did a good job of that with this layout. For the snowman I cut out 3 different sized circles and overlapped them from the bottom up. I tied some of our Sunset ribbon around his neck for a scarf and placed some of our Color Ready Arbor Wooden Shapes for his arms. I used a cute Sunset button brad for his nose and two different sizes of Black Licorice Opaque's Adhesive Gems from buttons on his belly and for his eyes. I cut two rectangles of black cardstock for his hat and wrapped around some Harvest Assortment Bakers Twine and tied it in the front. I used foam dots to place the hat onto Mr. Snowman. Just Adorable…

Spellbound Scrapbook Layout

_9197828 The fun is in the discovery (Medium)

I really liked the Spellbound paper packet from The Workshop On the Go kit shown on page 14 in the Fall/Winter 2012 idea book but I never have Halloween Parties. Just because it comes in a party kit does not mean you have to used it for party decorations. I used mine for scrapbooking.

I have lots of things going on in this layout:

· I gathered the black tulle Ribbon topped with pear ribbon as an accent

· I made a bracket with the Artiste cricut cartridge and stamped with a coordinating frame stamp then my title

· I sponged sunset and pear ink onto the Color ready Arbor pumpkin shapes

· I made curly cues with waxy flax for the pumpkins

· I used my bracket border punch onto black and sunset cardstock for a nice accent

· I stamped tabs from the Confidential Stamp set, cut them out and layered onto the layout. I also added the dates to these.

· I used the 4x6 flip flaps to add some extra photos.

· I used scraps of paper to make some banner flags on the left page.

· I added some pear brads for accents

Scrapbooking with Flirty paper

_8297345 you bring a smile to my face (Medium)

Don’t you just love the accents on this page. They draw your attention to the top of the left page and continue on down to the right page and on up to the corner, all in a nice even flow.

These little accents are really easy to make…except they do take a little bit of time to do. You start with a 1 ¼ inch circle punch and double sided paper. Then with the punched circle you fold in the sides to create a square. Then mat on top of another circle. Easy peasy.

Scrapbooking With Victory

_3307023 Terry's House (Medium)

For this layout I used the Victory Paper Packet. This is a really versatile paper and can be used for just about any layout.

I really like the Color Ready wooden garden shapes too. For these I took my chocolate ink pad and sponged on some color right on to the wood the attached some Mocha Opaque's Pearls for some dimension.

I also used the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and cut out the Scalloped Square for the focal point. I cut it on the Square 2 shape using the decorative layer function and at 10 3/4 inches.

A Stella Paper Layout

_3307017 Hopewell Rocks (Small)

This layout was inspired by a Florentine Layout done by Annette Green. It is fairly simple, uses a large 8x6 photo and 2 4x3 photos. Different size photos add interest not only to the layout but also to the album you are putting them into.

On this layout I also got to use some of the My Reflections Complements Canvas Shapes. These are pretty cool embellishments. They are ink printed right on the self adhesive canvas. It gives it a rich unexpected feel. But the best part is you get 2 6x12 sheets filled with swirls, flowers, tree limbs, birds, sentiments and more for only $5.95. Close To My Heart has really outdone themselves in designing these, they are definitely a must have.
