My First Tilda Post!

Welcome to my First Tilda Post. These stamps come from the Magnolia collection. I have purchased them from here.
Diana has real good shipping but the Magnolias are in high demand so the website is on the slow side sometimes.
This girl is called #382 Tilda with Thistle. I colored her with my Copic Markers and matched the colors to the paper colors in the Bella Paper Packet (X7114B). With my little color chart you can match any copic to any Close To My Heart paper you may have. This is also the first time I have used stickles. I have had them for ages but never got around the using them on a project. I love the effect and will certainly be purchasing more of them.

Cute as a Button

I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentines Day! I sure did. I spent the last few days looking after my granddaughter! What a delight she is. She is so photogenic...she loves to smile for my camera! Although I have not uploaded any photos of this past weekend I do have this layout to post of a previous time she was here.

For this layout I took my White Pen from Inkssentials and drew faux stitching around the flowers I also colored the ricrac like I did in the last post with my Copic Marker.

Turning 40

Turning 40...it never bothered me to jump up from being in my 30's to being in my 40's. Age is only a number and is reflected in how old you feel. And I know that was a few years ago too, but I just got around to scrapbooking it.

For this layout I colored the Colonial White Ric Rac with my Copic Marker. I really like to do this as it saves in supplies ...you only need white or cream embellishments and you can color to match anything you have. I did color both sides of the ribbon to make it a uniform color.

I also took my journalling pen and made faux stitching around the stamped images, journalling and one of the pictures. I think it gives the layout just a little bit more pizazz.
