Kit of the Month for September

This is the Sweet Home Kit of the Month for September.

The kits will contain complete directions to put together a two page layout and 6 cards (3 different designs). These are completely new patterns that are not published in any of our how to books like Cherish or Originals. Each month I will be featuring a new kit that you can order, then the following month I will host a FREE workshop for all that purchases it. If you cannot make it to the workshop you can complete it at home as the kit contains all you need except the inks colors and blocks. (But most of you already have those) This kit contains a new My Acrylix stamp set not available anywhere else. Price for the kit is $37.50.

Sweet Home Kit of the Month contains:

Enjoy the Journey stamp set

Sweet Home level 2 paper packet

Mini Medley Accents White Daisy Collection

Workshop Guide.

You can add on:

Top Coasts Framed in $6.25

Designer Ribbon Rounds Buttercup Collection $9.95 if you like.

Then at the Workshop in October we will put together the two page layout or the collection of 6 cards. You will also have plenty of papers left over to make your own creations...being more scrapbook pages, cards or altered items.

If you would like to order this kit please contact me before September 23rd in order to get it back before the workshop date.

Have a beautiful afternoon!

Novalee's Baby Album

This is the front cover of my Granddaughter, Novalee's Baby album. This is a Close to My Heart's 12x12 Linen Album. I really love these albums. They are soft and very well made and will last a lifetime. I also love the new Snapease System that our albums are coming with now. You no longer have to turn out the back screws to add more page protectors, you just lift off the snapease strip and add the pages. What a time saving feature. I do put on an album cover to keep sticky fingerprints off the fabric and to keep dust off it too, (yes, I do have a dust problem.... I don't know how it accumulates so fast...LOL). Anyways, All supplies are Close To My Heart.
That's Amore Paper Packet with colors, Blush, Hollyhock and Chocolate
12x12 Linen Album in Hollyhock
Autumn Daisy Flowers
Clear buttons
Chipboard letters (covered with paper)
Blush Waxy Flax
Sewing machine with White thread

I hope you like it and be sure that I will post many layouts to fill this album.

Baby Shower Guest Book

Here is the Guest Book I made for my Granddaughter, Novalee's, Baby Shower.
It matches the diaper cake and the baby book that I also made using the Key to My Heart Paper Packet. Novalee's Room is done in a POOH Theme so that is why the Pooh and quote are in the book. Each of the inside pages has a different photo of Novalee making some pretty faces. Sorry, she is just so cute, I cannot help but say that her faces are so darn cute!
Thanks for looking and make sure to leave comments, I love hearing from you.
Laurie

Baby Shower Diaper Cake

My Granddaughter, Novalee's Baby Shower is on Sunday. I made this Diaper Cake for part of the decorations. It is made out of the Key to My Heart Paper Packet. I had also made my daughter a Baby Book made out of the same paper that I gave to her back in February to track all the progress of pregnancy and birth. I also made the guest book for the Baby shower out of the same paper that I will post in another post later this afternoon.
I did not have any instructions to make this, but i did remember seeing one somewhere in my blogging travels so I had an idea of what one should look like. I did use two different sizes of diapers that I individually rolled up and tied. Then i made a paper chain for the band around the diapers and added lace, flowers and some string pearls. I hope you like it.
