Let's Celebrate!

Well, summer finally arrived!  The weather is getting better outside so that means life is starting to get busy too.  My posts to this blog will still be coming throughout the summer but maybe not quite so often as they have been. 

These are some really old photos…it is of my 5th birthday. I used the Fanfare Workshop On the Go Kit but I did make a few changes to fit my photos into it and to “customize” it a little bit.

A Christmas layout in June!

This page was inspired by another Close To My Heart Consultant, Corrina Mitchell.


I liked the layout that she had done so I scrap lifted (copied) lots of her design and added a few things of my own to customize it for me.

Jean's 75th Birthday

A few years ago, we surprised my Mom on her 75th Birthday by taking her out to supper.


For the journaling I printed it out on my HP Printer using the custom color tab to print it with Tulip Color Ink. I have the RGB codes that match Close To My Heart ink colors. So I just enter them into the Red Green Blue codes in the custom ink colors in my word program then the printer will print out that color. This is great to get the journaling to match your project.

Love that Rocking Horse

I am so glad I had foresight to keep some of the things my kids had when they were little. It is really cool to see my grandbabies use the same things their parents used.
This layout uses only cardstock, no patterned paper at all.  It is a very simple layout that only took a few minutes to put together.

You are my Miracle

Wow are these Pictures old. My son is now 27 and has a baby of his own. This is one of the reasons that I really like to scrapbook. To Remember. I can still feel him in my arms as we are cuddling on the couch. Oh, those were the days…
