Using Burlap Ribbon

_8297356 pemberley with stars (Medium)

I love the look of this layout with the burlap ribbon on it. It can be used for little boy layouts, big, tough men layouts or the cute little cowgirl layouts. It should be quite simple to come up with photos for this one.

I really like the look of our new burlap ribbon. It has finished edges making if very simple to use. You can also cut into it like I did with the ribbon edge and it will not fray too much. If you do want the frayed look though it is easy to do by just pulling at the layers of burlap a little and it will fray easily for a completely different look. This ribbon is 1 ½ inches wide and there is 5 yards on the roll for only $7.95. I am sure you can tint it with a sponge and ink fairly easily too, and even stamp onto it with bold stamps and dark ink. I know you will see lots of more projects on my blog with burlap as it is so cool to use.
