Love Braggin Tags Album

I wanted to show you this album I made a while ago. It is still one of my favorite things I altered and I so love that paper...More to adore. The reason I am showing this now is that Close To My Heart is retiring these braggin tags albums, so it is only available while quantities last or Dec 2009. They make great gifts for grandparents or even for yourself. So don't say I didn't warn you that these were retiring.

Or for those of you that like to make scrapbook layouts you can use the instructions to make only one set of 8 cards and use the remaining paper to create a layout like I have pictured here. (I did add a couple of sheets of cardstock though), and I have enough patterned paper to still make another layout with adding additional solid cardstock.

More Pictures of Novalee

Here are some more pictures of my beautiful granddaughter Novalee.
I cannot believe she is already a week old! My how time flies. She is growing so much everyday. The top picture she is in her swing, which she loves. The middle picture is Me with Novalee. I get to spend lots of time cuddling her. I spent the first few days with them at their home then they came to my house for a holiday and are still here. There is no doubt that they get to stay as long as they want.
The bottom picture is my daughter Amy with her new baby.
Family is so precious!
Stay tuned for lots of scrapbook layouts featuring Baby Novalee!

Meet My 1ST Granddaughter!!!!

This is why I have been quiet here for a little while. My daughter gave birth to my first grandbaby on Tuesday August 4th at 11:11 pm. Novalee Rae Hardy was 7 lbs 1 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I was with her the whole time through labor, delivery and the next day and a half in the hospital, and I am still with her at her home. She is just so precious! And she is a really good baby, not too much crying. I am going to have lots to scrapbook now! Better run now, grandma needs some cuddles!!!!

Sensational Simplicity!

Today I would like to talk about something that has been going on a Close To My Heart for awhile now, but I think some of you may not even know about. It is Close To My Heart TV! The second Tuesday of every month Close To My Heart airs a TV episode that showcases a technique, a project, a product or two, and had a discount on at least one item or stamp set. These episodes can be viewed through my website at www.westmanscrapbooks.myctmh.com Click on CTMH TV, sit back and relax and be prepared to learn some cool things.
The newest one is called Sensational Simplicity! It features a technique called random stamping and shows you how the best way to create it step by step!
Do you sometimes use Black and White or Sepia photos? No? It will explain when it is best to use these and why.
Another feature of this episode is the different adhesives that Close To My Heart carries and how to use each one. It takes the guesswork out of which one to grab for.
One more thing, every episode features a spotlight product available at a discount! In this episode, the Gear Up stamp set is available at a discount ...your price is $20.00 Regular $23.50. What an awesome price! To receive this discount you must purchase directly from my website and use the special code of AS1015. Offer is only available until August 31 2009 so don't wait, order today.
