You've Got Flair!

This is a cute card I made this morning with the July Stamp Of The Month, You've Got Flair. This is a really versatile set that you can use just about anywhere. These images also work great if you are in the mood to color! You can color with just about any medium, like pencil crayons, markers, or chalk with a really fine applicator. It is amazing how you can change the whole look of your image just by using different colors.

All supplies are Close to My Heart unless otherwise noted:

D1351 You've Got Flair

Moonstruck, cranberry and White daisy cardstock

Neenah solor white cardstock

Stardust Patterned Paper

Cranberry Ink

Memento Tuxedo Black ink

White Daisy Flower

Moonstruck Bigger Brad

White Daisy Ricrac

Copic markers (sorry, I forgot to write down which ones I have used but am trying to remember from now on)

When using Copic Markers you should use certain cardstock or you may use up your marker quicker as some cardstock lets the marker soak in too much. Neenah Solor White cardstock and Prism are among the best to use for Copic Markers. Also certain inks will bleed when you color with Copics so the brand of ink is important too. I use Memento Tuxedo Black when i am going to color with my Copics. You can test out your favorite ink to see what works best for you but DO NOT USE STAZON! It will ruin your marker tip.

  2. Thanks for the tip about not using Stazon. Can you point me to a good place to get Copics? I enjoyed browsing your blog and seeing your pretty art!
