I am Celebrating an Anniversary!

I am celebrating my 6th Anniversary with Close To My Heart on February 28th...well actually it was on Febrauary 29th a leap year, but there is no extra day in February this year so Feb. 28th it is!

Wow! Time does fly by. It seems like only a few short months ago I started with this wonderful company. I cannot really call it a job, it is just so much fun sharing with my customers...my friends...

Hooked On Fishing

The weather here this week is supposed to warm up a little and get close to the freezing/melting temperature. Oh, that would be so nice after the long winter we have had. I know it cannot be long now until we can get back on the lake and do some fishing and camping. Cute as a Button

I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentines Day! I sure did. I spent the last few days looking after my granddaughter! What a delight she is. She is so photogenic...she loves to smile for my camera! Although I have not uploaded any photos of this past weekend I do have this layout to post of a previous time she was here.

For this layout I took my White Pen from Inkssentials and drew faux stitching around the flowers I also colored the ricrac like I did in the last post with my Copic Marker.

Turning 40

Turning 40...it never bothered me to jump up from being in my 30's to being in my 40's. Age is only a number and is reflected in how old you feel. And I know that was a few years ago too, but I just got around to scrapbooking it.

For this layout I colored the Colonial White Ric Rac with my Copic Marker. I really like to do this as it saves in supplies ...you only need white or cream embellishments and you can color to match anything you have. I did color both sides of the ribbon to make it a uniform color.

I also took my journalling pen and made faux stitching around the stamped images, journalling and one of the pictures. I think it gives the layout just a little bit more pizazz.

Perfectly Beautiful Little Girl

This is another layout of "My perfectly beautiful little girl". I scraplifted parts of this layout from another Close To My Heart consultant but I cannot seem to remember who it was or from what blog. I guess I need to get a 'system' to keep track of where I find things on the Internet.
For this layout I wanted my buttons to match the papers so I punched some circles out of patterned paper and a larger size of circle out black cardstock, and matted the two together. Then I placed a circle window charm on top. Then I attached it to the flower with a glue dot.

Time To Be

This is a quick layout of myself. I had come across a quote that I thought suited this picture perfectly. It states "We need time to dream, time to remember and time to reach the infinite. Time to Be" And I also knew that the Moon Doggie papers would go with the outfit I was wearing. So a layout was born.
