A Blast from the Past!

Wow, these are some really old pictures. These sometimes aren’t the “prettiest” pictures to scrapbook as they were odd sized and grainy but they sure do tell stories.

We are making this layout for the March Scrapbook Class on March 11th at 7pm.  Please let me know by March 8th if you plan to attend.  Space is limited and sometimes fills up fast.

One of the products I am going to highlight today is the Versamat. It really has so many uses. One thing I did today was to line up my stamps in the curve formation before I stamped it. I set the curved cardstock onto my mat, and then I placed the letters face down around the curve and adjusted them to where I wanted them using the square grid as a guide. Then I took my block, pressed it down onto my stamps and picked them up off of the Versamat.

Next, I laid out all the pieces of my layout, without gluing them down yet, just in case there is a mistake when stamping. (Yes, I still make some mistakes) then inked up the title stamps and stamped onto my layout. Then I glued everything down.

In case you are wondering…you can find the Versamat on my website here.
